Song for Liverpool
The Open Culture and Radio City "Song for Liverpool" competition was a chance for the people of Liverpool to vote for a new Scouse Anthem for 2008. Local artists were asked to submit their songs and a shortlist of five were put to the public vote. The winner with over 40,000 votes is:
Pool of Life by Phill Jones, Kenny O’Connell, Matt Shaw and Carl Davis
